Idea Launches Unlimited Calling Packs To Take On Jio

On Tuesday, one the major telecom operator Idea has announced a special pack to counter Reliance Jio and Airtel. Since the time, when Reliance Jio was launched, the whole telecom industry was shocked and caused heavy loss of more than Rs 13,000 crores to Airtel, Idea, and Vodafone. Ever since jio announced the unlimited calling and Internet, the major telecom players Airtel, Idea and Vodafone are consistently trying to regain their lost subscribers by introducing new plans at dirt low price with tempting offers and benefits.

This time, Idea has introduced two new packs by which users can do the unlimited calling to any network in the country. But that’s not all you get with this pack; you will also get some 4G internet data along with the calling. Below I mentioned the details of both packs.

Details Of Unlimited Calling Pack

Pack 1: The price of the first package is Rs 148, availing this package will give you benefits of unlimited local and STD Idea to Idea network calling, also you will get 300 MB 4g internet data, but it is only for customers having a 4G device, users with 3G or 2G mobiles will get only 50MB internet data usage.  Unlimited calling idea to idea network and 300 MB internet data will have a validity of 28 days.

Pack 2: The price of the second package will cost you Rs 348, availing this package will you benefits of unlimited local and STD calling to any country all over the country with no limits, also you will get 1GB high-speed 4G internet data along with unlimited calling, but 1Gb 4G internet data is limited to only users with 4G phone, remaining users will get only 50 MB internet data in this pack also. And the validity of unlimited calling to any network and 1Gb high speed 4G data comes with a validity of 28days only.

Note: Prices of both the plans may vary from circle to circle, do check with the idea’s customer care before recharging the pack.

The chief marketing officer of the idea, Sashi Shankar said “As people in India get into the holiday mode, they will tend to stay better connected with their loved ones. Providing them with seamless connectivity at an affordable price point, we have launched these exciting voice packs that enable Idea prepaid users to make unlimited voice calls across the country. We hope they make the best out of this proposition.”

Earlier, Airtel also announced their new plan in which users can avail unlimited calling benefit to any network all over the country, Idea’s new internet plan falls in the same validity period of other operator plans. Looks like the time is not so far where telecom companies will get down to their knees in front of the customers.
